SoundCafe Leicester (SCL) was incorporated as a charity in March 2015 and provides safe creative spaces for adults (our guests) who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, vulnerable, or socially isolated.

We aim to inspire those who are homeless or socially isolated by offering the opportunity to access services that encourage physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Working across three days a week, Monday to Wednesday we have a choir, football health & well-being and creative workshops incorporating arts, crafts and creative writing.

A key aspect of our work is providing meaningful daytime activities that develop new skills and help guests believe in themselves and empower them to find ‘their voice’.
