Who Is This Service For?
The team offers support to people experiencing repeat homelessness. Cases are identified based on triggering the criteria by the number of admissions into temporary accommodation services. The team then approach individuals to discuss and offer the service. Once a service user agrees to support they are allocated a worker who will then work with them across temporary accommodation providers and tenure. The team offer support to service users from crisis right through to resettlement to ensure continuity of support.
Cases are identified through the Single Access and Referral Service at the Housing Options Service based on the number of previous admissions into temporary accommodation.
If you have any queries in respect of access to the service or wish to discuss particular individuals who are experiencing repeat homelessness please contact the team.
