Inclusion Healthcare’s Assist Practice is a medical centre specifically designed to provide asylum seekers and eligible patients with access to high quality healthcare within Leicester City. They are open to new patients who wish to register and can provide the relevant Home Office UK Border Agency documentation.
Assist offer a full primary healthcare service, giving patients access to a range of health professionals from 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (Tuesday extended hours 6.30pm – 7pm bookable online).
Assist Practice is currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
EMERGENCY AND OUT OF HOURS
Out of Hours if it is not an immediate emergency call NHS on 111 and they will advise you.
Alternatively the Urgent Care Centre at Leicester Royal Infirmary offers an alternative to people who need to see a GP urgently at evenings and weekends, and who can’t wait until they can go to their own doctor. Phone: 0845 045 0411.

Assist looks after the immediate health needs of asylum seekers and support transition into mainstream practice if refugee status is awarded.
From blood testing to vaccinations, contraceptive advice and cervical screening to minor surgery and stop smoking support, they offer a wide range of services Assist are your first place to go if you have a medical problem and are an asylum seeker.
